Dawn Wall’s music is perhaps the closest humanity will ever get to the perfect liquid drum and bass sounds. The unstoppable group now has another flawless single to add to their growing collection, titled “Never Say.” Everything about this smooth single screams ‘perfection,’ from the ethereal vocals to the tranquil beat and bass line— even the haunting guitar sample in that resides in the track’s murky background.

Dimension drops a drum & bass edit of Eric Prydz’s “Generate”

This post was originally published on this site

There is no denying Dimension’s prowess as a quality Drum & Bass producer. That talented Englishman is currently a signee on MTA Recordings, and is no stranger to high profile remixes – having previously reworked Deadmau5’s classic single ‘Strobe,’ and Nero’s ‘Two Minds.’

His latest creation is a fantastic rework of Eric Prydz’s “Generate.” As is the case with remixing any hit single, preserving the soul of the original plays a critical role in determining the new version’s reception. Luckily, Dimension has absolutely nailed it with his tasteful edit, keeping the main melody and vocal samples virtually untouched, while adding in crisp percussion and deep bass lines- making for a gorgeous re-imagination of a modern dance classic.

This post was originally published on this site

Just in time for your seasonal playlist, UKF has announced a brand new annual Drum and Bass compilation featuring 23 of the year’s most anthemic selections. They’ll be packing the album with tunes from the likes of heavy-hitters such as The Prototypes Spor all the way to the soulful soundscapes of Fred V & Grafix and Brookes Brothers. Bad Company UK Remixed The Prodigy’s “The Day Is My Enemy” And OMG

This post was originally published on this site

Bad Company UK is legendary in drum & bass, so when people heard they were coming back this year, fans were right to be a little hesitant. Many groups have made returns after a hiatus with disastrous results, so why not Bad Company?

Thankfully, they’ve been doing great so far. After “Equilibrium” earlier this year, they’re back with this incredible remix for “The Day Is My Enemy” by The Prodigy. Such a stellar and strong remix is barely worthy of any words describing it, so I’m going to keep it short and sweet.

Holy shit, this is indescribably good.

Now listen to it:

Drum & Bass Duo The Prototypes Release Trippy Video With The Directors Of OK GO Music Videos

This post was originally published on this site

Venture for a moment inward deep within the capacities of your own individual dreamscape. You’re in a dungeon; better yet? A vault. An underground facility hinged with imagination. Where your fantasies run rampant with electricity fueled by one specific energy source. Can you guess what that source of power may be?

Unleashed at a vicious 174 beats per minute, Desperados Studios mastermind Bob Parlington (OK GO – The Writing’s On The Wall) has truly outdone himself.

They picked five traditional experiments with the elements and took them to a whole new level, subverting them— like setting the Chladni sand patterns on fire with the very sound that created them. Everything was built from scratch: the pyro plates, the Rubens tubes and air hockey table, and of course the speaker sphere: 98 speakers each one wired and connected to a stack of concert amplifiers, with 78,000 W of power coming out of the installation.”

Now that we’ve collectively established the sheer quality of the video itself, let’s move forward a bit to the extraordinary production value of the tune itself. Once again, through the signature sounds of one of drum and bass’s favorite duo’s The Prototypes the world is left in a unilateral shock. Heading to the club? Drop this tune. Having a beer with your mates? Drop this tune. In a fight with your girlfriend about why drum and bass takes up so much of your free time? Drop this tune so loud that she won’t be able to yell over your monitors blaring.

Heh, okay maybe not that last part, but you get the idea.

Make sure to purchase the tune and support it here: https://ukf.lnk.to/prototypestransmissionYo
