In line with a lengthy track record of top-notch annual programming, Outside Lands‘ 2019 lineup is a mixed bag of musical talent that offers something for all types of music lover. The San Francisco affair’s collection of headliners is rife with artists who are in the midst of career hot streaks. Recent multiple Grammy Award-winning artist Kacey Musgraves tops the lineup with Anderson .Paak, Childish Gambino, and Flume. Attendees can presumably expect Flume to use his Outside Lands slot as a launchpad for new music, given his release of mixtape, Hi, This is Flume, and his ensuing announcement that more fresh material would soon follow. Paul Simon, Twenty One Pilots, The Lumineers, Blink-182, Kygo, Leon Bridges, and Lil Wayne round out the remaining headliners.
Outside Lands’ 2019 lineup represents the electronic genre in its broad scope. RL Grime, San Holo, Big Wild, DJ Koze, Justin Martin, Shallou, and Bob Moses appear among the many producers tapped to perform at the festival. Moreover, DJ Koze, Bay Area-natives Luttrell and Justin Martin, and Flying Lotus‘ lauded 3D show all appear on this year’s billing too. Outside Lands will descend upon San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park from August 9-11. GA and VIP passes to the event will go on-sale on March 28 at 10 AM PT, and can be purchased, here.
Lollapalooza Berlin will return to the German capital city for its fifth year, running September 7-8, 2019. The festival, which takes place in Olympic Stadium and Olympic Park, has released its lineup, donning a diverse range of acts. Swedish House Mafia will make an appearance, adding to their list of tour stops, coming on board as co-headliners of the festival. Other headliners include Martin Garrix, Kings of Leon, Kraftklub, Twenty One Pilots, and an additional act yet to be announced. Martin Garrix will be bringing his STMPD Rcrds stage to the festival, which will showcase a variety of artists involved with the label.
More electronic music acts heading to Berlin include Don Diablo, Alan Walker, Loud Luxury, Gryffin and more. These artists will be juxtaposed with performances ranging from Khalid to Hozier, giving fans plenty to look forward to. Tickets are now on sale.

Boston Calling revealed its 10th anniversary lineup, featuring some of the biggest names in the industry and premier headliners such as Travis Scott, Twenty One Pilots, and Tame Impala. Other big names to grace the northeastern sonic get-together include ODESZA, Logic, Greta Van Fleet, Anderson .Paak, Hozier, Janelle Monáe, Sheck Wes, and many more. With an eclectic lineup combining carefully selected acts in hip-hop, rock, and electronic music, Boston Calling tempers the array of sounds by including comedy acts such as Michael Che, Jenny Slate, and Fred Armisen.
Other electronic acts thrown in the mix include Mura Masa, a DJ set from Chromeo, Snakehips, and other various troupes that utilize strong synth protagonists. The event is embedded in prime-time festival season, May 24-26, at the Harvard Athletic Complex. Click here for tickets.
