Back in November, Shapov and Trouze released the melodic single “The Way.” The single originally debuted at  Axwell / Ingrosso’s sold-out Heineken Music Hall show at ADE last year and its striking grooves and emotive tones made it an instant classic for big room house fanatics.

Now, the track has resurfaced with a full remix package for the single — out on Axtone — with twists likeMarcus Santoro’s big room edit, Lucas Silow’s nüdisco re-groove, Pete K’s stripped down version, Tom Tyger’s jungle influenced take, Sini & RMA’s expansive progressive house soundscape and even an acoustic version of the track to cap off the collection.

The remix collection has something for everyone.

Shapov & Trouze – The Way

Shapov and the Singapore/America trio Trouze have officially released the piano-driven, emotive “The Way,” which made its stellar debut at Axwell / Ingrosso’s’s sold-out Heineken Music Hall show at ADE last year. Between the track’s stirring vocals and propelling melodies, Shapov and Trouze have once more solidified their stance in dance music.

After having begun 2017 with his Four Corners EP and subsequently bringing in 10 million streams on the work, Shapov toured tirelessly throughout the summer. He performed at Tomorrowland twice and also hit innumerable festivals along the way including Electrobeach, Los Alamos, Electric Love,  and Parookaville, to name a few.

Meanwhile, Trouze has been steadily making strides into the electronic scene, appearing on Armada and Mixmash, and collaborating with venerable artists like Elephante.

If the two continue pumping out tunes as hauntingly beautiful as “The Way,” it’ll soon be impossible for the dance scene to look in any other direction.

T-Pain, best known for multi-platinum hits like “Buy U A Drank,” “Bartender”, “Good Life” and “I’m On A Boat,” has never shied away from innovation. First popularizing auto-tune, then going acoustic on NPR Tiny Desk, and now offering up unreleased vocal samples for a collaboration with Dubset.

Dubset, which delivers mixes and unofficial remixes to streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, reached out to its community of producers with the opportunity to produce their own take on the T-Pain vocals.

“I thought it would be a great way to get some never released a capellas into the hands of some dope producers/remixers,” said T-Pain.

Featured artists CrankdatBad RoyaleUZ, and Trouze all came through with their unique versions of the a capellas from “In the Air” or “Do Wrong.” Unlike official remixes, where artists typically only get a flat fee, these releases will pay all three parties: T-Pain, the producer, and the label.

Trouze – Intersection (Remixes)

This post was originally published on this site

LA/Singapore-based dance trio, Trouze, have developed an impressive résumé from their past experience including previously working with BT, Santana, Troye Sivan, and Paul Oakenfold. The two producers and singer-songwriter have honed in on their skills for years in the background, but are now ready to launch their own artist project. Their debut offering, “Intersection,” marked an impeccable synthesis of clean vocals, bright pop melodies, and a pumping house bassline.

For the track’s remix package, Trouze tapped previous collaborator Project 46 along with Gazzo and Kodrin to reimagine the lead track. Gazzo flips “Intersection” into a retro-meets-modern disco gem where he allows his finesse with the guitar to shine. Project 46 turns “Intersection” into a party-ready, dancefloor heater that is sure to be a favorite in 2017 at the clubs. Finally, Kodrin gives us a cool-down version of the track in his “Deep Afterhours” remix as he helps complete the well-rounded remix package.

International Tastemakers TROUZE Release “Intersection” Remix Pack

International producer group, TROUZE based across Singapore and Los Angeles is back in the limelight this time around for the release of their “Intersection” remix package.

With a fondness towards a wide variety of diverse sounds TROUZE, hand-selected 3 different producers to take “Intersection” to the next level. No two remixes sound the same. Check out what TROUZE had to say about each of the producers below.

Trouze on Gazzo’s Remix:

“In line with the sounds of his new EP – brings out the melody with his use of trendy sounds and smart production – really like how he interplays between the guitar riffs he created and our vocals. bassline is real catchy and builds nicely into a very trendy vocal drop.”

Trouze on Project 46’s Remix:

“It really intensifies the retro and future elements of the original. Accurately represents the continued evolution of Project 46’s sound starts off 80’s nostalgia-drenched electric/acoustic piano pads before plunging into a groovy future bassline and skittering, atmospheric pitched and detuned vocal cuts carry the drop.”

Trouze on Kodrin’s Remix:

“Captures the subculture of the after hours vibe. Sexy bassline, ethereal atmospheric sounds and a gradual build takes the listener on a much deeper and almost thoughtful journey into the vocals.”
