An alarming video has emerged that shows a security guard at FOMO Festival in Brisbane allegedly choking an attendee as he restrains him on the ground. The festival saw a mix of artists based in EDM and Hip Hop with headliners Flosstradamus and Desiigner.

In the video, two guards stand over an attendee as one appears to place his hand over the man’s throat. The second officer looks as if he tries to tell his associate to let him go, while another attendee approaches them to try to intervene.

Some reports have said that the attendee in question lit a flare before the video was captured. Police have said that no formal complaint was filed and that they are not currently investigating. FOMO Festival has said they are looking into the video and conducting a full investigation themselves.

The woman who took the video said that the festival initially had her post removed. It has since been reuploaded, and attached below.
