Charlotte Gainsbourg – A-Ring O’Roses (SebastiAn On The Beat Remix)

SebastiAn Charlotte Gainsbourg Remix

French electro house stalwart Sebastian Akchoté-Bozovic — better known simply as SebastiAn — never seems to take his foot off the gas. The Ed Banger icon’s discography has gravitated towards cult acclaim over the last decade and, while his prominence isn’t quite as forthright as French colleagues Justice or Busy P, his releases are always a welcome dive into authentic French house.

Now, Bozovic is here to quench our French thirst once again with his latest release of Charlotte Gainsbourg‘s seminal track “A-Ring O’Roses.” Toned down, stripped to minimalism, and subsequently re-adorned with the dressings of French synths that veer towards heady futurism, the remix is a melodic build culminating in a melancholic tug.

Don’t sleep on Busy P. While fellow French superstars such as Tchami and DJ Snake may currently be dominating main stages and chart positions, but as far as dance music’s original French connection is concerned, Pedro Winter still pulls the strings. Moving into 2018, Busy P and his cohorts at Ed Banger Records have plenty of good news for fans, mainly with big projects from SebastiAn and Justice on the way.

In an interview with Earmilk, Busy confirms the announcement of a new full-length SebastiAn record sometime in 2018, complementing the veteran as “one of the most talented producers around.” The label head also mentions a new Justice video in the works as well as what sounds like the early stages of a third live album from the French house pioneers sometime next year. Always coming through with the good word, keep an eye on Busy P, he’s got big things up his sleeve for 2018.

Watch Axwell Λ Ingrosso Destroy Amsterdam With 2 New Unreleased Tracks

This post was originally published on this site

Axwell Λ Ingrosso just wrapped up another stint at Amsterdam Music Festival, and apart from coming out to one of the most insane entrance sequences ever, the duo kicked off with a brand new ID that has us feeling all kinds of awesome.

But they didn’t stop at one. No, Heineken Music Hall got treated to two new ID’s from Axwell and Ingrosso. The introductory tune is called “How Do You Feel Right Now,” and it’s built as a heavy instrumental arrangement prime for kicking off some early-set hype. The second, “Dreamer,” has all the melodic richness and vocal composition of a classic Swedish House Mafia track, packed to the brim with euphoria.
