Diplo calls out Dame Dash for allegedly shopping his beats to Kanye WestDiplo Dame Dash

On a video promoted by Kanye West, Dame Dash is pitching a beat he calls his own to Mr. West. Dash is seen feeling this beat for a total of one minute and 17 seconds, selling Kanye on his creative genius. Unfortunately for the co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records, that song isn’t his. It’s Diplo‘s from his 2004 album, Florida, “Sarah.

Dash says in the video, “Yo, bro. I’ma send you this beat. Don’t talk that shit talkin’ bout you ready to rap, had me come cook some shit up, get in the lab. We make shit up. I’m in the studio, making motherfucking records, and I got more, so just let me know. You have to respect my creativity in this motherfucker. I’m only telling you this to get you hyped over this shit. I’ma email this shit to you. Let this shit get your mind right.”

Hyping up his genius creativity and ownership for over a minute became cringeworthy once the Mad Decent label boss called him out Twitter. The fake Diplo account created for Vice’s comedy What Would Diplo Do?

(AllHipHop News) Jay Z and Timbaland continue to battle an Egyptian songwriter over their hit single “Big Pimpin.”

In 2007, Egyptian artist Osama Ahmed Fahmy claimed the rappers illegally sampled his uncle Baligh Hamdi’s song “Khosara Khosara.”

The case eventually wound through the courts, and in 2015, a judge ruled in favor of Jay Z and Timbaland, noting the rapper’s paid EMI over $100,000 to clear the sample.

However, Osama Ahmed Fahmy is refused to go down without a fight and filed an appeal over the original ruling against him.

In the latest round of legal wrangling, lawyers for Jay Z, Timbaland and dozens of other defendants have filed a motion to dismiss Fahmy’s request for an appeal.

The lawyers for Jay and Timbaland claim he already signed away his rights to the song, yet his is still trying to appeal the verdict.

To complicate the issue, lawyer’s for Jay Z and Timbaland say Fahmy is basing his latest argument on copyright laws which don’t even exist.

The are asking a judge to toss the lawsuit for good, in support of the original verdict, which was reached in October of 2015.

After the intitial ruling, Jay Z and Timbaland’s lawyer David Steinberg told the New York Times that his clients “have been vindicated in their position that they have every right to exploit ‘Big Pimpin’ ’ wherever they choose, including in records, films and concerts.”

Kanye Asks Jay Z Not To Kill Him and And Begs For A Phone Call During Latest Rant On “Saint Pablo” Stop In Sacramento

This post was originally published on this site

(AllHipHop News) Kanye West’s Saint Pablo tour stop in Sacramento got off to a promising start last night (November 19), but it ended in disaster after another infamous rant – which only ended when Kanye cut his show short and walked off the stage.

Kanye was performing at the Golden 1 Center. Things were looking good when he brought out Kid Cudi, whom the fans greeted with thunderous cheers.

After Cudi’s intro, Kanye performed three songs, before launching into a rant that included comments about Jay Z, Beyonce and more.

Fans were not too pleased, and soon started chanting “Fuck Kanye,” and someone even threw something at him when he was ranting.

Others took to Twitter to voice their frustrations with Yeezy.

Some fans paid as much as $600 to watch the rapper, who left an arena full of fans in bewilderment over his latest actions.

Just last week, Kanye made headlines when told an audience at the SAP Center in San Jose that he didn’t vote, but if had, he would have voted for Donald Trump.

Last night, Kanye said:

“Sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forgetting who we are just to win, f##k winning, f##king looking cool, f##k being cool, f##k all that. I been sent here to give yall my truth even at the risk of my own life, even at the risk my own success, my own career. Jay Z, call me bruh, you still aint call me. Jay Z call me, I know you got killers, please don’t send them at my head, talk to me like a man.”

Lil Wayne: I’m A Roc-A-Fella Millionaire (VIDEO)

This post was originally published on this site

(AllHipHop News) By now, most people are aware that Lil Wayne is not on good terms with his longtime label Cash Money Records.

Wayne has been battling with the company for years over unpaid money and the delay of his Tha Carter V album.

Followers of the New Orleans-raised rapper also know Wayne has declared he is a big Jay Z fan and even considered signing a deal with the New Yorker’s Roc-A-Fella Record at one point.

Wayne reminded the world he may still be interested in officially teaming with Jay.

“I’m a motherf-cking Roc-A-Fella millionaire,” rapped Wayne at a concert.

Last year, Weezy became an artist-owner of the Jay Z led Tidal streaming service.

“I just signed a deal with my motherf–king idol,” Wayne announced in June of 2015.

The partnership led to a lawsuit by Cash Money, claiming Tidal did not have the legal right to host Wayne’s Free Weezy Album.
