It’s most important day of the week: New Music Friday. With the overwhelming amount of tunes hitting the airwaves today, Dancing Astronaut has you covered with the latest edition of The Hot 25.

After the release of their Lost Souls EP earlier this year, Knife Party have tapped Laidback Luke for a groovy remix of “Death & Desire,” and Jason Ross, Dabin, and Dylan Matthew team up for “One That Got Away.” Wave Racer has released a new single, “This N That” with LunchMoney Lewis, and Martin Garrix links with Dean Lewis for “Used to Love.” Walker & Royce tackle Dom Dolla’s “San Frandisco,” and Hot Since 82 takes it one deeper on “Tilted.” Arty lends his spirited hand to Gorgon City and MK’s “There For You,” and Axwell remixes Halsey’s “Graveyard.” Four Tet’s dingbat-riddled moniker unveils new content, and Nicky Romero, Mike Williams, and Amba Shepherd collaborate on “Dynamite.” REZZ and Malaa take no prisoners on “Criminals,” and Golf Clap deliver their iteration of “Let It Go” by Hood Rich and BRUX. NGHTMRE flexes on an interpretation of Habstrakt’s “The One,” and Herobust cranks up the intensity on “Smoke.” Chime keeps the Halloween spirit alive with “Haunted,” and Modestep sound the “Alarm” on their new single.

As each week brings a succession of new music from some of electronic music’s biggest artists, here’s a selection of tracks that shouldn’t be missed this NMF.

What happens when a Grammy-winning producer combines forces with a kingpin of the Demoscene in the Norwegian underground? Pegboard Nerds prevails, and the Scandinavian duo has unleashed yet another extended play, Heart of the Universe, from the Monstercat netherworld. The project comes after their 2018 effort with their Full Hearts EP featuring Knife Party and Dion Timmer.

The eclectic project ranges from the groups recognizable extreme bass like on the heavy, “Exterminate” and the reggae brostep “Computa Hakka” featuring the Ragga Twins to a brighter lead single in “Crying Shame” featuring NERVO and a sparkling pop leaning pitch with “Solo” featuring Maria Lynn.

Along with the audio project, the production veterans also released a physical comic book to accompany the EP. It’s the first chapter in their Heart of a Universe series.

NERVO twins announce they are both pregnant in Instagram postNervo Pregnant

The signature twins of EDM, Miriam and Olivia Nervo have made potentially their largest announcement yet. It’s not a new tour or an album announcement — but it is a collaboration of sorts. In a new Instagram post, the sisters of NERVO have announced that they are both pregnant and expecting in 2019.

In the announcement, they wrote “HAPPY NEW YEAR from the tubby twins and our soon to arrive – baby PLUS ONE’S WHAAAT!!! Yes, we are both expecting!! Wishing everyone a fabulous, safe and happy 2019. 2018 was good to us! Truly feel so humbled by the journey and of course the continued support we receive from our friends, fam and ofc #NERVOnation. Let’s do this 2019 – we’re ready for the challenges, the lessons and the memories.”

Having recently completed an Asia tour, the NERVO sisters will almost certainly be slowing down their touring in the new year as their due dates draw nearer.
