Galantis, Dolly Parton, and Mr. Probz join for ‘Faith’DollyParton Galantis Faith

Dolly Parton is the latest star to enter the dance music side of the musical spectrum, and she’s chosen a strong partner in Swedish hitmakers Galantis. The finished product is a moodlifter, with Galantis employing a mélange of cheery chord progressions and rich basslines over a mid-tempo foundation. Flecks of woodwind and violin tie the atmosphere together, making for an ideal complement to the balanced tones of their A-list collaborator and Dutch vocal sensation Mr. Probz. “Faith” is tailor-made for the airwaves, and a fun step outside the norm for Parton.

Galantis have had a strong 2019, increasing their heightening their crossover profile through collaborations with OneRepublic and Passion Pit for “Bones” and “I Found U,” respectively. Meanwhile, after the release of “Faith,” Dolly Parton told Rolling Stone that she’d be open to future work with Galantis, pending the success of their first single together.
