Parisian duo Loge21 have released a grip of production gold from their new Unprocessed LP, touting forward-thinking bass and G-house.

With eight tracks, the heavy-hitting project introduces the set with “Revenge,” a fist-pumping bass house thrasher with sustained synths that lift the production’s dark tonality. The second track, “UZI,” carries a more familiar G-house sound while “Cratedigger” proceeds with a more glitched-out bass house skeleton with familiarities akin to Skrillex and JOYRYDE‘s “AGEN WIDA.” “Breaklaw” also follows this formula, for a complex tonal percussion masked through heavy sampling. The entire compilation showcases a variety of styles within the bass house arena.

Before making their debut on the Zeds Dead-run Deadbeats in 2018, the French group unleashed the majority of the catalogue with fellow Frenchman Tchami‘s CONFESSION label where breakout hits such as, “Flip The Funk” and “Drop That” live. The talented tandem have also successfully rode millions of streams through Spotify for Destructo‘s All My Friends shop with a collaboration with the label boss, “No Retreat,” and a recent release from Diplo‘s Mad Decent alongside Matroda, “Raise Em Up.”

Go deep, then go deeper. Matroda and Loge21 are diving to the bass depths in their new collaboration, “Raise Em Up,” out now on Mad Decent.

Fans of both artists knew spotless sound design and an irresistible bass punch would be the result when these two notable acts came together, and that’s exactly what happened. “Raise Em Up” introduces itself with a simple enough house kick but soon morphs into something more complex as filtered vocals make an entrance and a wonky background melody wobbles in and out. The drop presents something new entirely, using the element of surprise to catch the listener off guard.

These two artists delightfully plunge their fans into their own realm of madness, delivering a bass house installment that’s sure to thrill fans of all house music persuasions.

Loge21 make fearsome Deadbeats debut with ‘Charms’

This post was originally published on this site

Parisian production duo Loge21 have made their debut on the Zeds Dead-championed Deadbeats imprint with their newest track, “Charms.” The better part of Loge21’s release catalogue has been with fellow-Frenchman Tchami‘s Confession imprint, under which they released breakout hits, “Flip The Funk” and “Drop That.” Now Loge21 has secured a co-sign from DC and Hooks, proving to be a fitting match up for the group’s new delivery. “Charms” brings the aggressive house the Loge21 boys are known for, while also lending itself to the bass-abundant Deadbeats design. Seared into the track’s four-on-the-floor fabric are jagged wobble bass and metallic synth stabs, while pitched-up vocals float over the breathy interludes.

Zeds Dead have always had a penchant for inventive bass house, which partly why their occasional team-ups with Jauz have proven to be so successful. With Loge21 toeing that same line with their growing catalog, expect the up-and-coming Frenchmen to fit in with the Deadbeats roster more frequently going forward.
