Like KSHMR, Axwell Λ Ingrosso found themselves in India to help everybody usher in the new year at Sunburn Festival. And like KSHMR, they also took the time to preview a brand new track that they had been working on.

In a short clip posted to their Facebook page, the duo shows off their forthcoming single entitled “I Love You” – for now. The track kicks off with some pleasant strings which remain present through the rest of the track before collaborator Kid Ink comes in with a rap verse in between some crooning R&B vocals from a yet-to-be-determined vocalist.

Axwell / Ingrosso team up with Kid Ink for “I Love You (Working Title)”

There’s tons of news coming out of Sunburn Music Festival in India but perhaps the biggest reveal from the largest festival in Asia came at the hands of the legendary Axwell and Ingrosso. During their performance, the guys delighted the crowd with a first listen of their newest production. An eerily familiar string section (The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony” anyone?) kicks off the duo’s latest collaboration with Los Angeles-based hip hop phenom. A blend of orchestral elements, dubby bass lines, soaring R&B vocals, and Ink’s silky smooth flows all work together with impeccable ease. Testament to both producers’ sonic versatility, “I Love You (Working Title)” is a sharp but welcome stylistic departure for the progressive house icons.

No set release date yet. But expect this one to find its way into the duo’s sets throughout 2017.
