Kayzo has proven time and time again that he is a force to be reckoned with, and his newest single only continues to prove his prowess. The track is titled “Alone,” and the LA-based producer collaborated with rock band Our Last Night for the release. Kayzo ascended into the spotlight thanks to his hard-hitting drops and his ability to merge punk rock and electronic music. The choice of Our Last Night as a collaborator will surprise few who have consistently followed the producer, and the rock elements shine through on “Alone.” The track is the lead single of the producer’s next album.

Kayzo is embarking on his Welcome to the doghouse: Unleashed tour where he will be making stops throughout North America and Europe. Fans can see if he is performing at a city nearby here.

Dylan Matthew’s soothes the soul in acoustic rework of Seven Lions, SLANDER, and Dabin’s ‘First Time’Dylan Matthew First Time Acoustic Rework

In October of 2018, Seven Lions teamed up with SLANDER and Dabin to release blissful single, “First Time,” on Seven Lions’ imprint Ophelia Records. Dylan Matthew is the vocalist on the original track, and he has come forward with his own acoustic version of the song, showcasing the beautiful melody in a new light.

Matthew gives his stunning vocals the spotlight, filtering out the electronic elements in favor of powerful piano melodies that serve as the perfect complement to his vocals. He has also ensured that there will be no questioning his talent thanks to the fact that he live recorded the music video for the release featuring simply himself playing the piano. “First Time” was not the singer’s first electronic collaboration, having previously worked with ARMNHMR and Nolan van Lith on “Alone” in addition to SLANDER and Kayzo on release “Without You.”

Valentino Khan and Kayzo terrorize with new collaboration, ‘Novocaine’Valentino Khan 3 White Rabbit

Valentino Khan and Kayzo have given us a musical shot of “Novocaine.” It serves as their first release of the year. Both artists are known for their heavy-hitting releases, and this collaboration is no exception thanks to its intense drops and unrelenting energy. The track begins with hardstyle-influenced kicks that lead into jarring and distorted synths, effectively numbing the eardrums before drilling into the sonic cavity with a heavy dose of bass.

Khan and Kayzo have recently announced big tour plans, with Khan making his debut at the legendary Hollywood Palladium and Kayzo embarking upon an ‘Unleashed’ tour, which he’s advised will contain the biggest production he has had for a show yet. “Novocaine” will be a fitting addition to the artist’s respective sets, and the track is out now via Diplo‘s Mad Decent.

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is back to dominating the headlines thanks to an all-encompassing, star-abundant collection of artists who will be performing at the 2019 iteration of the Indio, CA-based music festival. The next chapter of the legendary soiree has not met the media’s gaze without its fair share of controversy, mainly Kanye West dropping out of the lineup due to what he recently referred to as “artistically limiting” stage design.

On a brighter note, 2019 will be the first year fans will be able to live stream the festival for both weekend one and two. In previous years, fans were limited to the festival’s first weekend exclusively for streaming capabilities. Now fans across the world will be able to watch back-to-back weekends of acts including DJ Snake, Kayzo, Bassnectar, Ariana Grande, and more. The live streaming for Coachella 2019 commences the first weekend, April 12th-14th, rolling all the way through to the next, which spans April 19th-21st.

From Skrillex to Kayzo, many DJs have been tempted to try their hands at remixing Travis Scott‘s chart dominating “Sicko Mode.” The latest to join the list of artists stepping up the the Astroworld standout is none other than Diplo, although his rework of the original is more festive than it is transformative.

Diplo enlists Walshy Fire, Ape Drums, and company on a private plane for the ultimate Christmas re-think of “Sicko Mode,” fake rapping his newly written holiday-themed “Santa Mode” lyrics. The original track is an undoubted hit, but Diplo’s timely Christmas cut actually manages to hold up — we might need a full version.

Kayzo‘s music does anything but blend into the current output from the electronic music scene. This is thanks to his eclectic fusion of screamo, punk rock, and heavy-hitting electronic notes into unique productions that continue to stand out as a fresh take on electronic music and pop. He’s maintained originality all through his comeup, placing himself as a particularly unique talent within the current crossover pool.

The LA-based producer is known for keeping the energy high during his live sets, which makes his music perfect to start off a Saturday night with. We’ve chosen his Electric Zoo set from this past fall for this edition of Saturday Night Sessions; it takes listeners through a hectic, but pleasing journey that floats between bringing back pop punk tracks that graced airwaves 10 years ago and steep dubstep drops. Of course, he adds plenty of his own work into the mix.

For those who reminisce back to the days of Papa Roach, The Killers, or even early Skrillex releases, Kayzo is an artist to follow — so get started with this savage hour-long mix.
