At the end of 2017, Zeds Dead and Jauz teamed up for the single, “Lights Go Down,” a drum and bass belter that may have helped launch the genre’s 2018 resurgence in the United States. Now, the producers have enlisted nine heavy hitters in the bass music scene, each giving a unique take on the intense track.

The Deadbeats duo reach to their own label for a few of the remixes, looking to LICK and Duke & Jones for two bass-heavy renditions of the track. Gentlemen’s Club and Subtronics each drop off solid dubstep remixes, while Sikdope and Sqwad turn the song into high-energy bass house thrillers. With nine solid remixes viable for almost any set, don’t be surprised to hear “Lights Go Down” in one form or another for the rest of the year.
