Las Vegas nightlife hub, Hakkasan, has a proven knack for pairing top EDM talent with the most in-demand hip-hop acts in the game right now, but they’re one-upping themselves with their latest booking. Dim Mak kingpin Steve Aoki is primed to take over the club on November 15 with one of rap’s most sought-after performers of the moment, Lil Uzi Vert, for the duo’s first ever co-headlining performance. While Uzi and Aoki have yet to officially collaborate, a shared stage in Las Vegas this month could give way to a studio link sometime down the line.

Lil Uzi Vert and Steve Aoki’s shared headline performance comes amid a packed month of entertainment on the Las Vegas strip. Heavy hitters like NGHTMRE, Kaskade, Tiësto, and Matoma are all also slated to perform at Hakkasan and the club’s affiliated properties across the month of November. Tiësto’s latest music video for ‘WOW’ gets a dystopian touch

Tiësto’s latest music video for ‘WOW’ gets a dystopian touchTiesto Interview 1

Tiësto‘s latest single “WOW” finally gets an official music video, and the concept is impressively creative. This production follows the video game theme in his previously released “Jackie Chan” video, yet this one employs a slightly darker touch.

Directed and animated by Bram Knol, we follow a young backpack-clad hero navigating through a dystopian, post-apocalyptic future. In the “WOW” video, it’s clear that technology has taken over and flying drones are the enemy. Our protagonist runs, climbs, and rolls through burning buildings suspended in the air — pretty impressive for a kid that looks like he hasn’t even finished grade school.

Check out the video and catch Tiësto this Fall, with a string of tour dates in China followed by a residency at Hakkasan Vegas in late September.

The Caesars Palace nightclub kicked off its electrifying three-day weekend celebration with none other than the king of the strip, Mr. Residency 2020, Calvin Harris.  Harris, fresh off his tune of the summer, “One Kiss,” played all of his chart-topping hits for a sold-out crowd. Following the firey Harris deliverance Friday night, Fellow Grammy Award-winning Zedd kept the party going Saturday night with an equally exuberant performance that kept guests dancing until the early hours of the morning. Unfortunately, the revelries had to come to a close Sunday evening, but who better to do the honors, than the unparalleled hitmaker himself, Martin Garrix.

Calvin Harris topped Forbes‘ list of the highest paid DJs for the fifth consecutive year in 2017, but as 2018 begins to unfold, it seems that a sixth year at the number one spot on the list is likely as Harris rakes in a hefty sum for the renewal of his Las Vegas residency with Hakkasan Group.

Determined not to see Harris “Slide” out of the entertainment capital, the luxury nightlife brand has extended Harris’ Omnia Nightclub residency through 2020, an elongation that arrives at the price of £200 million (approximately $280 million USD). The figure breaks down to a pay out of a little more than £1 million each night that Harris performs at the world famous nightclub.

Harris fans traveling to the Strip can get exactly what they “came for” given the producer’s extended residency, and can purchase tickets to Harris’ upcoming shows, here.
