Fergie’s solo career blossomed back in 2006 when the Black Eyed Peas lead released The Dutchess. Working on her sophomore LP, the pop songstress has released the first two singles – hip-hop-fueled “MILF $” and the sentimental “Life Goes On” – the latter of which live electronic duo, smle, applies an island touch to. Airy vocal melodies intertwined amongst a rhythmic drums, smle swaps out the seriousness of Fergie’s original demeanor in “Life Goes On” for a light-hearted mood.
