Andrew Bayer announces ‘Parallels’ fall tour and shares new single, ‘True Feelin” [Stream]Andrew Bayer NEW Copy 1

Trance titan Andrew Bayer‘s dedication to the Anjuna family is unending and unwavering. Over the course of the last decade, he’s put out dozens of releases on both Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep and headlined oh-so-many Anjuna-curated nights around the world.

Now, he continues that crusade with his next Anjunabeats EP, Parallels, and a North American Fall tour to go with it. According to Bayer, the intention behind this EP is a return to his pure club inclinations which is why this tour will see him hit some of the most iconic clubs the U.S. and Canada have to offer, from Exchange LA to Mezzanine in San Francisco to Chicago’s Spybar.

Parallels’ is a new project for me and a return to analog club sounds aimed squarely at the dance floor. Ever since I started unraveling the club mix odyssey of ‘In My Next Life,’ I’ve felt a deep reconnection with my club sound and pushed myself to take it into new directions – whilst also paying homage to the influences that shaped my first interest in club culture. The latest result is ‘Parallels,’ an EP of instrumental club experiments designed to exist side-by-side with my continuing passion for long players (spoiler alert: album four in motion) – Andrew Bayer

Ahead of the full EP release, Bayer has shared the new single “True Feelin’,” and just as he intended, this track epitomizes uplifting club trance. From the moment the first kick hits, the energy is pushing towards a sensational conclusion that will infuse any listener with joy. Bright chords punctuate a layered rise towards an intoxicating drop Anjuna fans will find refreshingly familiar.

Stream “True Feelin’” in full and check out details for Andrew Bayer’s Parallels tour below.

deadmau5 confirms ‘mau5ville: Level 2’ is underway, rumored for September releaseDeadmau5 Cube 2.1 Debut Nyc Hammerstein Ballroom AJR Photography 3.29.2017

It’s official, deadmau5 has confirmed the next level to his burgeoning mau5ville series with a cryptic tweet from his mau5trap label. After his successful mau5ville: Level 1 release in July, which featured “Monophobia,” mau5’s first collaboration with Rob Swire in nearly a decade, the label boss wastes no time in moving onto the second chapter of the project. The song on the teaser is a track deadmau5 made while streaming to his fans, “Midas’ Heel,” hinting it might be complete. There is also a numbered sequence that reads “34.052235 – 118.243683.” Then what looks like a compass with a mau5head needle spins, landing on the number 300. One fan plotted these coordinates, and found it’s close to the former LA Stock Exchange building and current massive nightclub, Exchange LA.

In the rumor mill, Chinese streaming platform, Netease Cloud Music, reported the album is expected to drop on September 23 along with a world tour announcement. Rumors from the streaming platform also suggest that mau5ville: Level 3 will be released concurrently with the upcoming tour, and these next two collaborations contain 40 songs with about 100 musicians working on them.

PLS&TY drops uplifting new single ‘Down For Me’Pguuw08Q

PLS&TY continues his hot streak of releases with “Down For Me.” Released on PRMD Music, this single follows up stellar remixes for Jocelyn Alice on “I Know” and Cazzette‘s hit track “Run The World.” He was also featured on episode 109 of DA‘s mix series The Radar

“Run The World” is a testament to how well the producer makes future bass and beyond, experimenting with some ethnic instrumentals on this one and fusing it with wavy synths under echoing vocals to catalyze a tribal reaction.

PLS&TY hits Exchange LA on July 13 as well as a headline show at Soundwell in Salt Lake City, Utah in the fall.
