Purple Disco Machine have the honor of remixing the “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again” duet between Elton John and the actor that played him in his biopic, Taron Egerton. The rinse features that leading, funky bassline in a more prominent role to the original that sits below the euphoric and ecstatic vocals from the star of “Rocketman.” The tune was shortlisted for Best Original Song at the Oscars, so in celebration, the electro-funk house reimagining was released from the groove masters responsible for a stellar remix of Fatboy Slim’s “Praise You” and the recently released major label remix of Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now.”

The original was also nominated for a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice Award. Egerton received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy and the film was nominated for Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy).
