The latest delivery from Seven LionsOphelia Records has arrived, courtesy of label mainstays Jason Ross and Dabin. The two powerhouses have tapped the vocal talents of Dylan Matthew, and the three artists mesh perfectly on “One That Got Away.”

The single drips with emotion from the get-go, debuting with a delicate guitar melody and opening lines from Matthew. With its slightly wistful feel and nostalgic vocals from the singer, “One That Got Away” proves to be a stellar addition to all artists’ discographies.

Jason Ross has been hard at work on his first studio album, set to make its debut on Ophelia Records. Dabin recently released “Hero” with Said the Sky and Olivver The Kid, and Matthew’s latest project was an acoustic rendition of his track, “Sober.”

In 2018, Seven Lions collaborated with Dabin and Slander on “First Time“—a track that instantly became a hit that laced itself into main stage DJ sets for the rest of the year. This set up a highly anticipated joint road stretch in 2019, With Seven Lions now closing out the year on the Alchemy Tour alongside his collaborators. Now, as the tour really begins to get underway, NGHTMRE has stepped up to give the crew some added ammunition in remixing the collaboration with his own fresh low-end spin.

NGHTMRE is careful to keep essential elements from the original mix, including the fan-favored vocals from Dylan Matthew and trance-inspired synthwork. Yet, the “Street” producer slows the track’s tempo for a trap-infused bass-line, injecting vibrant elements to a euphoric, crowd-pleasing break.

NGHTMRE, Slander, and Seven Lions are currently on “The Alchemy Tour” with additional support from The Glitch Mob, hitting an array of US stops through mid-October. Head here for tickets and a full list of dates.

Since Seven Lions founded Ophelia Records in 2018, the massive dubstep producer has relentlessly curated the highest echelon of releases. Now, he has recruited two of the bass world’s most exciting acts to usher in the latest Ophelia release, “Another Me” featuring Dylan Matthew. Teaming up with mainstay Excision on his debut Ophelia appearance and “Island” collaborator Wooli, Seven Lions succeeds in pushing the full dynamism of the trifecta’s creative force in “Another Me.”

Fusing emotionally charged melodies, open-hearted vocals, and thundering bass, “Another Me” incorporates each producer’s stylistic production voice into one diversified listening experience. Beginning with a flowing vocal-based verse, the track amps up to two drops—one for the melodic senses and the other for the bass-loving souls. Trading off cascading synths and celestial strings for chaotic licks and buzzing bass, the collaboration’s grandiose soundscape has something for everyone in store.

Dylan Matthew’s soothes the soul in acoustic rework of Seven Lions, SLANDER, and Dabin’s ‘First Time’Dylan Matthew First Time Acoustic Rework

In October of 2018, Seven Lions teamed up with SLANDER and Dabin to release blissful single, “First Time,” on Seven Lions’ imprint Ophelia Records. Dylan Matthew is the vocalist on the original track, and he has come forward with his own acoustic version of the song, showcasing the beautiful melody in a new light.

Matthew gives his stunning vocals the spotlight, filtering out the electronic elements in favor of powerful piano melodies that serve as the perfect complement to his vocals. He has also ensured that there will be no questioning his talent thanks to the fact that he live recorded the music video for the release featuring simply himself playing the piano. “First Time” was not the singer’s first electronic collaboration, having previously worked with ARMNHMR and Nolan van Lith on “Alone” in addition to SLANDER and Kayzo on release “Without You.”
