At just 19 years old, Demo Taped is set to become one of the most unique electronic producers in the game. His unique take on R&B infused electronic music has already garnered the up-and-coming producer over 7 million streams on Spotify.

His latest release, “Pack Of Gum,” is a pleasant mix of synth melodies, soft vocals and a light bass-line. The Atlanta native adds in looped vocal motifs as well as additional electro-nodes that culminates in an easy, euphoric listen for any setting. Having toured with NYC-based indie pop group Wet just last year, Demo Taped is gearing up for a breakout 2018.

Wet, Demo Taped Performed a Sold Out Show at Webster Hall [Photos]

Wet played a sold out show at Webster Hall this weekend with support from Demo Taped and Aerial East. It was the final show of their first national headlining tour for the Brooklyn-based band. Aerial East first took the stage and played some beautiful, emotional music. Her and her band’s sounds are reminiscent of a David Lynch film, soft and sweet with an eery feel. She played songs from her debut album Rooms which came out this past spring.

Demo Taped then played a mesmerizing, upbeat set. The project of Atlanta-born Adam Alexander is filled with heavy beats and synth sounds accompanied by his soft vocals. Demo Taped opened for Wet throughout the tour and when speaking to him prior to the set, he said it’s been an incredible journey, but he’s also excited to get back to Atlanta. He says he has some new music in the works, and I can’t wait to see what his first LP holds.

Then Wet took the stage to screaming fans. The NYC-based band has built an incredible fanbase, selling out venues even prior to their LP release in early 2016. Lead singer Kelly Zutrau has one of the most unique and beautiful voices of our time. The band played favorites like “Island,” “These Days,” and “Weak.” They also played serval new songs, some of which Zutrau played on the stage solo, accompanied by just a table harp. It was a beautiful performance and there’s plenty more to come, it seems.
