The Claptone remix pack for Fantast track, “Stronger,” follows the titular suit of Claptone’s debut album in that it too is a bonafide “Charmer.”

The Stronger (Remixes) bring three fresh new takes on the Ben Duffy assisted single, delivered by Tensnake, David Penn, and Pirupa, respectively. Tensnake harnesses low pitched bliss in his tonally darker spin, while David Penn aims for an increasingly vocal-centric and rhythmically emphatic house construction in his dance worthy rework. Pirupa rounds out the remixes with pronounced percussive additions.

ATFC Hipcats

For many, the process by which a song goes from a producer’s bedroom to the top of the charts is a mysterious one. Luckily, the video accompaniment to ATFC & David Penn‘s “Hipcats” — released via Armada‘s house imprint Armada Subjekt — sheds some light on the procedure.

The video follows a puppet Hipcat as it progresses from bedroom producer to Armada signee to top-of-the-world DJ. A tongue-in-cheek look into the machinations of the music industry, “Hipcats” itself is a serious tune. It blends an old-school house vibe with an energetic, modern twist built on a foundation of a rumbling bass and catchy vocals.

Between the the quality of the production and the intriguing video, “Hipcats” stands poised to make a big mark on the summer festival season.

“Hipcats” is available for download on Beatport here.
