Codeko flips on Elephante’s ‘The In Between’The In Between Codeko Remi

Codeko has had a big year, thanks to hit remixes and a single featuring Austin Mahone that have both yielded extensive radio exposure for the up-and-comer. His spin on Marshmello‘s “Silence” peaked at No. 13 on Billboard’s Hot Dance chart, and now the British producer is back with another potential hit remix with his take on Elephante‘s “The In Between,” featuring Anjulie.

Codeko’s reimagining still withholds the impassioned nature of the original, but infuses intense future bass notes with bouncy synth accents into the drop. Anjulie‘s vocals still serve as a focal point to the release, but the intricate additions to the track transform it into a more live-performance-friendly piece. Elephante will be embarking upon a 40-stop fall tour to celebrate his full Glass Mansion album release, and fans looking to see him perform the track live can check out tickets and dates here.

While he may still be on the rise, UK newcomer Codeko is certainly making strides to make 2018 his breakout year.

Last year was when the London-based producer made his first stir, earning the official Electric Zoo anthem for his song “Walking with Lions” after winning Mysteryland’s remix contest. Continuing his success into this year, Codeko has remixed Tritonal and NomBe before his remix of Marshmello’s “Silence” went rampant on the Internt and went on to be #1 at SiriusXM’s channel, BPM.

With 2017 coming to a close, the upward-headed talent ends the year off with a major release: his new single “Say Hi” featuring Austin Mahone. A jubilant, mood-boosting piece of dancepop, “Say Hi” maintains a high level of energy due to Codeko’s crisp yet punching production while Mahone’s smooth vocals give it the accessibility both commercial and dance fans will enjoy.

To kick the release of their collaboration, Codeko & Austin Mahone took on the task of playing 8 parties in 24 hours at various venues across the University of Arizona in Tucson. Watch their collegiate marathon recap above and stream “Say Hi” now below.

Electric Zoo is around the corner, set for yet another Labor Day Week on Randall’s Island. The annual New York City festival revamps yet again, following last year’s Transformed theme with Wild Island 2016.

With the Big Apple’s festival goers anxious to return to the festival, Electric Zoo has unleashed its official anthem. Produced by Codeko, featuring Raphaella, the aptly titled “Walking With Lions” embodies the Wild Island theme with its feel-good, anthemic dance production and lyrical tie-ins that sonically illustrate the festival’s weekend-long experience.
