Just like Dancing Astronaut rounds up 25 of the biggest songs of the week for the Hot 25 Spotify playlist each New Music Friday, Lunar Lunes serves as a landing pad for SoundCloud users who want a whole new dose of tunes to kick off the work week.

Alesso links with TINI for a mellow summer tune, “Sad Song,” and Botnek ramps up the intensity on “Jiffy.” Haywyre takes on Martin Garrix’s “Summer Days” in a delightful, piano-infused remix, and DJ Snake taps J. Balvin and Tyga for the feel-good “Loco Contigo.” Sonny Fodera’s crafted a remix of Dom Dolla’s “Take It,” and Merk & Kremont bring the heat on “KIDS.” Conro takes to Monstercat for a new original, “All I Want,” and Uproot Andy offers a spicy remix of Sofi Tukker and Bomba Estero’s “Playa Grande.” SYN brings the bass on “Danger,” and Pleasurekraft doesn’t hold back on a rework of Adam Beyer, Layton Giordani, and Green Velvet’s “Space Date.” Ephixa and Heartful have delivered some synthwave goodness on “Sundance,” and Justin Caruso continues his slew of edits with a new combo of Brohug vs. Valentino Khan, “DatDatDat.”

Botnek releases sleek new single, ‘Work That (Body)’Botnek

In a time where run-of-the-mill house producers are abundant, it can be difficult for artists to make their music stand out. Canadian production duo Botnek seem to have taken that as a challenge, as their open-minded, genre-blending style has landed them major collaborations with ZeddSnails, and more. The pair have now released their second single of 2018, titled “Work That (Body).”

Starting with a groovy beat, Botnek pair the subtleties of a smooth tech-house track with the energy and sound design of a future house belter. Wavering synths and a driving bassline permeate the tune, making the track a crowd-pleaser for both small nightclubs and festival main stages.
