Benzi, who’s earned a reputation of “everybody’s favorite make-out party DJ,” has put out a 12-track edit package mixed between Billboard chart-topping artists and classic hits that serve as bombs on the dancefloor. Good news for DJs is they’re all free for download.

Benzi is known for his sought-after edits, mashups, and bootlegs. The BBC Radio 1  linchpin also runs airwaves through his show on Sirius XM #BANGUERS with BENZI. His crates are deep, and his mixes are stacked with party-appropriate energy levels.

The Girl Trapz proponent and Diplo & Friends stop-by recently celebrated 10 years of “Get Right Radio” mix installments, continuing his perpetual fountain of hour-set deliveries. This brand builder, radio host, and genre chemist never thought mixing hip-hop with dubstep would make a viable career, but he’s here and making it.

On his “SUMMER 2018 EDAT PACK” notable tweaked features include DJ Fresh‘s “Gold Dust” conjoined with What So Not, jubilant Calvin Harris crossed with synthy KRANE, Baauer mixed with RL Grime, D4L‘s “Laffy Taffy,” a collaborative edit with NITI GRITTY featuring Post Malone and that Hermitude fuego everyone knows, and other edits featuring Future, Flume, Cardi B, A$AP Rocky, WUKI, 4B, and Lil Pump.

Benzi and collaborator Blush also recently released a new remix of Youngboy NBA’s “No Smoke” via Atlantic Records.

Benzi heard the peoples’ cry, and so he delivered.

Los Angeles’ Benzi is, by all accounts, the peoples’ DJ. The BBC Radio 1 mainstay is legendary in DJ circles for creating some of the most head-turning and sought-after edits, mashups, and bootlegs out there. He graces fans with almost unlimited circulation of his endless catalog of personal crate gems, along with a handful of stacked mixes each year, with his Girl Trapz series in particular taking on a cult following among dance fans and your favorite DJs alike. Now, ahead of his return to the Diplo & Friends airwaves on December 30, the TWRK proponent is delivering volume 13 in his famed Girl Trapz mix series to hold fans, and possibly himself, over until then.

Patched together by exclusive cuts from Ookay, LH4L, WOLFE, and Benzi himself, the mix clocks in at just under an hour packing together over 30 tracks, including contributions from San Holo, What So Not’s latest, Troyboi, Lil Uzi Vert, Graves, Luca Lush, and Diplo. Drezo and Benzi split the difference on stellar ‘Diplo and Friends’ episode

Diplo recently lined up a special episode of his famed BBC Radio slot, Diplo & Friends, delivered by Drezo and one of show’s resident selectors, Benzi. Los Angeles-based producer Drezo, coming up as one of the brightest talents in the tech house scene, drops off an hour-long bout of his infectious club-primed sonics, while Benzi, widely known among DJ circles as the scene’s leading remixers and edit producers, brings it home in the second hour with his booming list of exclusive edits and bootlegs.

Drezo opens up the two-hour show lacing together tunes from Valentino Khan, Chris Lake, and The M Machine, glued together with his growing catalog of warehouse-primed wobbles, packing in everything from his DJ Hanzel-assisted “Anxiety” to his most recent original, “Dead” from his forthcoming Jaded EP due July 14. Stepping away from the tech house motif for the tail end of the show, Benzi comes through with an hour of top-notch remixes and edits. The Girl Trapz producer showcases crate gems from Dillon Francis, Flosstradamus, Mercer, Kaytranada, fellow TWRK component eSenTRIK, and more.

Drezo satisfies the underground sensibilities, tempered by Benzi’s endless collection of edits, making this latest mix a highlight episode of Diplo & Friends this year.
