Exclusive: BENZI enlists Bhad Bhabie, Rich The Kid, 24HRS on debut single, ‘Whatcha Gon Do’Benz

When a producer has been around as long as BENZI has, especially one who has managed to gain such notoriety in various DJ circles, it’s mind-blowing that it has taken this long for his debut solo single to finally reach the masses. But alas, after years of passing personal edits to fans and fellow performers alike, the former TWRK proponent and current SiriusXM jockey has enlisted an all-star crew of rappers to help him unveil his first official solo product, “Whatcha Gon Do.”

The new track is a souped up posse cut featuring bars from Bhad Bhabie, Rich The Kid, and 24HRS. Each has had their own foray with electronic music, with 24 previously linking with Flosstradamus and A-Trak in 2018, and Rich The Kid racking in credits alongside Diplo, DJ Snake, and others. Now the rappers all convene over a bombastic BENZI trap beat, broken up by a chopped up vocal hook that serves as the track’s infectious break. Toeing the lines between trap, hip-hop, and future bass, BENZI comes through with an aced debut single that’s drenched in the producer’s undeniable swagger. Get the first listen to “Whatcha Gon Do” below.
