It was The Knocks‘ turn for a feature on Sirius XM’s The Cookout, dishing out a groovy hour of classic house and disco vibes. Aired weekly on Diplo’s Revolution, the mix series is set to showcase some quality talent for the remainder of 2018, including fan favorites Malaa, Gorgon City, Boys Noize, and more.
Kicking off with Aroop Roy’s recently released disco track “What I Love,” the track list also includes some of the duo’s original content, with a “2K18 dance edit” of the their hit single “Classic,” and a Purple Disco Machine remix of “Ride Or Die” (also a vocal edit). With a some 2018 gems and an Aretha Franklin mashup to close out, this mix is packed with feel-good jams that’ll brighten anyone’s morning commute.
