In the EDM stratosphere, artists like The Chainsmokers and Calvin Harris paved paths in Las Vegas’ club heavy scene. Even tech-house has solidified itself, with Jamie Jones, Solomun, and Black Coffee announcing residencies at Wynn Nightclub. Outside of EDM, artists such as Celine Dion, Motley Crüe, Prince, and Rod Stewart have all completed strenuous Vegas residencies, all contributing heavily towards the financial success of their storied careers. But is Sin City ready for a pop-punk invasion?

Well, Blink 182 has announced a 16-date deal with Las Vegas’ Palms Casino Resort, entitled Kings of the Weekend.

“When the Palms asked us to do a residency here in Vegas, we said ‘Absolutely!’,” said bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus in a statement. “Now, we just have to cast our showgirls, create our set list – a true throwback of Vegas classics with Sinatra, Liberace. Maybe we can even marry someone onstage … The possibilities in Vegas are endless.”
