The night is young and full of terrors, including Kayzo’s new Halloween compilation album, Little Comp of Horrors Vol.1, the first of hopefully many fight-filled shared releases from the electronic music punk rocker’s Welcome Records. The project includes various up-and-comers in the bass space including tracks from TYNANLil TexasDuke & Jones, and more. Also included in the grip of heavy hitters is the ringleader’s first single release, “Lights Out,” since his diverse sophomore album, Unleashed.

Through menacing melodies and heavy percussion, the electronic-rock hybrid producer gathered tracks ranging from hardstyle to dubstep and many more in between and adjacent. The consistent theme rallies around this frightful time of year, a perfect follow-through from one of electronic music’s most terrifyingly good producers.

The wait is over, the time is nigh: Sullivan King has released his highly-anticipated debut album, Show Some Teeth, on Kannibalen Records. Bass music doused in heavy metal scream throughout the project as King’s supporting cast includes a sloth of low-end contemporaries such as TYNAN, Kompany, SWARM, and more vocalists and producers engaging in the dark arts.

The 15-track long play showcases the live performer’s creative studio strengths inciting a verity of styles that place the electronic metal behemoth in an upper echelon of producers.

With his iconic hybrid production, electrifying guitar riffs, raw vocals, and vigorous songwriting. Though bridging the gap between alternative mainstream and electronic music, Sullivan King, is making his mark and continuing his rise to the top of the dance music world.

After bringing the renegade funk to The Glitch Mob‘s “Disintegrate Slowly,” 1788-L is back with an original, heavy-metal-inspired, bass-infected track, “A B Y S S,” with TYNAN. The track, released on Zeds Dead‘s Deadbeats imprint, sets the scene with an eerie ambiance of dissident bass, hollow white noise, and creepy tension sounds. A chasing synth approaches as the energy rises, dropping into an amalgamation of gritty sub bass, high-end foley, and heavy electronic fills.

The mysterious 1788-L released their debut EP, S E N T I E N C E, on Deadbeats, having collaborated with the likes of REZZ and bolstering high-quality, on-brand remixes of Virtual Self, Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, and Skrillex. Fans can catch the enigma, currently on tour supporting Ekali and REZZ in select cities.

There is no denying Canadian producer Ekali has had a big few years with a sold-out headlining tour and hit collaborations with the likes of ZHU. The producer is back with new music in the form of OWSLA release “Blood Moon,” a collaboration with TYNAN and Hekler.

The track is a cutting bass-trap fusion with commanding drops that will undoubtedly be featured in future festival and club performances. Ekali commented on his Twitter that he considers co-producers TYNAN and Hekler to be some of the most talented up-and-coming bass producers in the scene, and “Blood Moon” certainly speaks to that.
