The most important day of every week: New Music Friday. As each week brings a succession of new music from some of electronic music’s biggest artists, here’s a selection of tracks that shouldn’t be missed.

Sleepy Tom and Youngblood team up for a catchy collaboration, “In My Head.” It’s both refined and dance floor-ready, aided by dreamy vocals.

Markus Schulz taps Capital Cities‘ SEBU for an infectious original, “Upon My Shoulders.” Acoustic guitar melodies and wistful vocals from SEBU make this the perfect end-of-summer anthem.

Lively horn stabs and an invigorating beat fuel Toyboy & Robin‘s new release, “Horn It.” The London duo’s latest is out via Nothing Else Matters.

Georgia Ku lends her enchanting voice to this new collaboration between Captain Cuts and Zookëper. “Do You Think About Me” is highlighted by chopped-up vocals and a lively house beat.

Carnage celebrates this week’s 8/08 day with a ferocious trap number featuring Sludge. He builds into the song with ominous choir-like vocals and a call of “El Diablo” to kick off the drop.

Tom Tyger, Charles B and VCTRY channel old-school house vibes in their unexpected collaboration, One Too Many.” The track is out now via Protocol Recordings.

LUUDE says he’s “actually been sitting on this one since the start of 2017 and never finished it” until now. “Omen” is highlighted by hefty bass and a dark vibe.

Robotaki has delivered “a song from my heart to yours” in his latest, “Brooklyn ’95.” He taps Mike Clay for the track’s vocals, adding to the laid-back atmosphere he exudes.

A month after releasing his “Erase” remix package featuring Arty and Lights, FRND has come out with a sentimental new single, “Before U I Didn’t Exist.”

Liquid Stranger brings eerie, spacey wobbles in his newest original, “Gunslinger.” The free form bass track features Pistol and is out now via WAKAAN.

Hakkasan Group extends Calvin Harris’ residency into 2020

Calvin Harris

Calvin Harris topped Forbes‘ list of the highest paid DJs for the fifth consecutive year in 2017, but as 2018 begins to unfold, it seems that a sixth year at the number one spot on the list is likely as Harris rakes in a hefty sum for the renewal of his Las Vegas residency with Hakkasan Group.

Determined not to see Harris “Slide” out of the entertainment capital, the luxury nightlife brand has extended Harris’ Omnia Nightclub residency through 2020, an elongation that arrives at the price of £200 million (approximately $280 million USD). The figure breaks down to a pay out of a little more than £1 million each night that Harris performs at the world famous nightclub.

Harris fans traveling to the Strip can get exactly what they “came for” given the producer’s extended residency, and can purchase tickets to Harris’ upcoming shows, here.

Hakkasan Group raises over $1-million at magnificent Las Vegas victims benefit

Julian Jordan & TYMEN – Light Years Away

This post was originally published on this site

Julian Jordan has released another hit in the new release with TYMEN, “Light Years Away.” The Dutch producer, who started touring the world at the ripe age of 15, skews more pop with this release, showing his dynamic ability to produce mainstage festival tracks, progressive house, and pop. The song is out now on Jordan’s own label, GOLDKID Records.

TYMEN is an up and coming producer from Amsterdam, and “Light Years Away” flutters the line of progressive house and pop with catchy upbeat vocals with an interesting progressive drop. Jordan recently scored a residency at Omnia, and will be making US appearances in 2018 between the San Diego and Las Vegas locations.

Hakkasan Group raises over $1-million at magnificent Las Vegas victims benefit

This post was originally published on this site

In light of the tragic events that took place on October 1 at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, the Las Vegas-based Hakkasan Group hosted a magnificent Benefit Concert at OMNIA Nightclub inside Caesars Palace on November 7. In an effort to raise money for those affected, a multitude of EDM’s top tastemakers and the local musical community gathered together.

Tiësto, Zedd, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Party Favor, Cash Cash, NGHTMRE, and more played back-to-back sets in the main room with additional performances from Lil Jon, and Celion Dion who even jumped on Steve Aoki’s decks for a go at the Titanic soundtrack’s emotive “My Heart Will Go On.”

As the night went on into the early hours of the morning, the Hakkasan Group’s benefit proved to an expectedly remarkable affair. The company raised over $1-million through donations, ticket sales, and additional revenue throughout the night. All proceeds from the event are to be donated to the Las Vegas Victims Fund, via the Direct Impact Fund.

In addition to the event itself, Hakkasan also hosted a private dinner at Searsucker inside Caesars Palace for a number of the city’s first responders, as a means to thank them for their service.

Hakkasan and OMNIA announce bountiful harvest of acts for November line-up

This post was originally published on this site

As Las Vegas advances towards cementing itself as the epicenter of the US’s electronic music scene, Hakkasan and OMNIA have unequivocally established themselves as the leading institutions in the city. After an October month of monstrous acts and a summer of stellar lineups that rivaled many festivals, the Hakkasan Group now presents a bountiful harvest of acts for the month of November.

Those who flock to the city will have the opportunity to see some of the best artists electronic music has to offer in all that is crude, lewd, and downright party-aligned. Legendary acts like Steve Aoki and Hardwell will be hitting Hakksan, with the line-up including a multitude of heavy hitters like NGHTMRE and Party Favor, it’s certain Hakkasan’s curatorial attention to detail is the au courant.

Hakkasan and OMNIA announce ‘monstrous’ line-up for Halloween weekend in Vegas

This post was originally published on this site

Las Vegas can very well be called the USA’s Ibiza, as it consistently brings in the world’s best talent no matter the time of year. However, unlike the rave White Island, the city continues to party all year round with A-list DJs literally flocking in and out of there on a daily basis. The Hakkasan Group have proven themselves as worthy gatekeepers to Las Vegas’ inimitable nightlife time after time with impressive lineups. With a massive, festival-esque benefit show slated for November at OMNIA, Hakkasan has also just announced their extensive line-up for Halloween weekend.

OMNIA will put on its third and final installment of the “Phantom of the Opera” themed trilogy that’s seen massive success over the past two years, featuring performances by Calvin Harris, Zedd, Kaskade and more. If that’s not thrilling enough for the audience, Hakkasan will invite attendees to step “Beyond the Wall” with its second chapter of the medieval themed party, featuring sets by Steve Aoki, Lil Jon, Above & Beyond, and even some tech-house vibes from Hodor himself, Kristian Nairn.
