Low End Theory unplugged its sound system for the final time with a packed house on Wednesday, August 8. The bittersweet event brought droves of avid supporters for the send off, and even featured an Odd Future reunion. The closing of LA’s beloved club night went out with a bang, with Tyler, the Creator set to headline. In a twist of sorts, a mini-reunion ensued with Earl Sweatshirt, Syd, Hodgy Beats, and more. The group’s former factotum went on to mention The Airliner, where the beloved experimental hip-hop and electronic club night took place every Wednesday for over a decade, was in fact where Odd Future had their first show.

Attendees of the sold out event had a chance to hear Wolf Haley’s version of Gucci Mane‘s “Lemonade,” and “Orange Juice.” Biz Markie was there to capture the visuals.

Oh, and A$AP Rocky showed up too. Low End’s send off was quite the affair. Tyler and Rocky’s club appearance was closely followed by a new drop from the two rappers in the new clip for “See You Again” from 2017’s Flower Boy. Stirring anticipation for a collaborative project between the A$AP Mob and Odd Future frontmen is starting to build, and hopefully it materializes soon.
