Spencer Brown turns Ilan Bluestone’s ‘Will We Remain?’ into a 2.0 wonderIlan Bluestoned Steelyard 26th May 2018 By Luke Dyson IMG 1116

Anjuna wunderkind Spencer Brown has stepped up to remix the latest single from his colleague Ilan Bluestone‘s debut artist album, Scars, released earlier this year. “Will We Remain?” is a collaboration between Maor Levi and Bluestone, along with vocals form El Waves. Now with the addition of the remix from Spencer Brown, it’s an Anjunabeats all-star collaboration, with three label favorites in the mix.

The original mix of “We Will Remain?” is in the classic anthem style we expect from Bluestone with emotive and soaring vocals and a beating heart of a melodic drop with tech elements. In Brown’s remix, he brings the production energy to a stripped back, progressive trance place where El Waves’ vocals really shine at peak passion. Following a string of original mix releases, this remix is a welcome switch up from Spencer Brown as his talent expands.

British DJ and producer Ilan Bluestone has released his debut album, Scars, on Anjunabeats after teasing fans with three releases off of the 15-track LP — “I Believe,” “Let Me Know,” and “Another Lover.”

While the album is rooted in trance, Bluestone proves his versatility by crossing over into more commercial and progressive sounds in tracks like “Rival.” Another highlight of the album is collaboration with Maor Levi titled “Everybody” with its rumbling build into a catchy and euphoric drop.

Bluestone commented on his Instagram that Scars was two years in the making, which is apparent given the diverse range of productions featured on the album.

Maor Levi is back with new solo single ‘Aurora’

Maor Levi is back with his first, and long-awaited, solo track release of 2017. Levi has a rich history of releasing uplifting and melodic trance tracks, which ascended him into notoriety within the electronic music scene. Recently, the Anjunabeats protégé’s releases have been put on hold due to Levi joining producer/DJ group Bad Royale.

This fall it was announced that Maor Levi was leaving Bad Royale to pursue his solo career again, and “Aurora” is definitely worthy re-entry song for the producer’s re-induction into his solo career. A mellow intro builds into upbeat progressive chords with trance synths dancing around the propelling chords. “Aurora” is an uplifting melody that is sure to heighten any listener’s mood, and it is out now via Trice Records.

Bad Royale down to a trio as fourth member leaves group

LOUDPVCK is not the only entity dropping a pin in ‘Splitsville’ this week.

Bad Royale is officially down a member, the former electronic group of four members announcing its size reduction in a tweet. “New us, who dis?” the tweet asks, accompanied by an image of three cartoon men.

The missing fourth cartoon member led numerous Bad Royale fans to respond to the tweet, with many questioning what happened to the fourth artist. Bad Royale responded by stating that the fourth and noticeably missing member is “not a part of the group anymore. He’s left to work on his solo career,” the trio wrote.

While Bad Royale did not overtly specify that Maor Levi was the departing member of the group, Levi tweeted thereafter about the slew of “new Maor Levi stuff in the making,” suggesting that he indeed has left the group to pursue a solo career.
