Atlanta’s music scene is bustling, and Imagine Music Festival has worked its way to the top through its half decade of operation. The event started out has a humble gathering and has since grown into the city’s largest, independent multi-day electronic music event, complete with camping and a wide array of immersive activities to pair with its forward-thinking lineups. Its sixth edition sees Imagine entering a new chapter: the festival has announced expansion to four days of programming, and the addition of a brand new tech house-oriented stage.
Fifty new artists have joined Imagine’s roster as well, topping off its 2019 showing. G Jones, Lane 8, Boogie T, and Sullivan King are a few of the heavy-hitters entering the fray. They join an already robust sonic offering that includes KSHMR, Louis The Child, and Anna Lunoe. Guests can expect heady grooves on the TechYes/Guerrilla 360 stage, with soundtracking by the likes of Amine Edge & Dance, Anthony Attalla, Franklyn Watts, Lee K, and many more.
The festival touches down at the Atlanta Motor Speedway from September 19-22. Make sure to get tickets here before they sell out.

After crushing 2017 with chart-topping, radio hits including “Let Me Go” featuring Hailee Steinfeld and Florida Georgia Line, and “Is That For Me” featuring Brazilian vocalist Anitta, Alesso is back again with new music. Making his 2018 debut, the famed Swedish DJ gives fans a taste of his renewed sound on “REMEDY” featuring English singer/songwriter Conor Maynard.
The new single is built on wide appeal, as Alesso incorporates a wide range of instrumentals and rhythms. He kicks it off with soothing piano riffs and a soca-inspired drum beat, all layered under captivating vocals from Maynard. The tune’s break is light, yet pleasing to the ear with melodic harmonies and echoing pitch changes, bringing together a warming, complementary collaboration for the pair on “REMEDY.”
This track is Alesso’s first release on Universal Music Group’s new imprint 10:22pm, and made its live debut on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series in NYC’s Central Park. He’ll stay in the US this fall, closing out the main stage with Tiësto at Electric Zoo‘s 10th anniversary prior to a headline set at Imagine Music Festival September 21.
Oliver Heldens has been reeling in all the right remixes as of late, reworking the classic Sidney Samson track “Riverside,” as well as Calvin Harris‘ chart-topping hit “One Kiss” featuring Dua Lipa. And now, the Dutch producer continues his end-of-summer tear with a remix of David Guetta‘s latest single “Don’t Leave Me Alone” with Anne-Marie.
The release has all the makings of a glorified crowd-pleaser, including a dance-heavy beat under the original’s catchy vocals and dropping into some pounding electronics. It’s easy to picture how the remix would play out live, providing the perfect backbone for some killer graphic visuals and light schemes.
His Heldeep imprint has been a driving force in summer 2018, taking over stages at some of the world’s most renowned festivals that saw Heldens as the headliner. In addition to a jam-packed Ibiza schedule, he’ll continue to move through the extensive tour schedule, hitting festivals such as Ultra Japan and Imagine Music Festival. Heldens will also continue to showcase the Heldeep brand, stopping in NYC for a massive Heldeep at Sea show featuring Black Caviar and more.
