Oliver Heldens and Firebeatz present ideal shuffling soundtrack, ‘Lift Me Up’Olive Heldens 2

Future house maestro Oliver Heldens is back with “Lift Me Up,” a collaboration with big room duo Firebeatz and Dutch producer Schella, featuring the elevating vocals of singer Carla Monroe.

Released on Heldeep Records, the bouncy track has a driving groove and funky bassline that encourages listeners to get up and start moving in any way they know how. The original mix features the full vocal stylings of Monroe, while the club mix relies mostly on the repeating titular phrase and energetic bass lead to get dancers out of their seats.

Heldens has been busy on the touring side, coming off international stops in Europe that include an ADE showcase and will be playing the infamous Printworks in London later this month. Expect to to see “Life Me Up” as the backing track to a bevy of shuffling videos in the near future, and plenty of it at his tour stops as well.

HI-LO and Chocolate Puma share Heldeep Records heaterOliver

Oliver Heldens, under his HI-LO alias, teamed up with fellow Dutch artist Chocolate Puma for a new electro-house heater on Heldeep Records.

The track, aptly named “Lazersx999,” features a pushing beat and synths that resemble a video game. HI-LO and Chocolate Puma overwhelm the senses with unrelenting lasers, placing the listener in the center of the chaotic game the two artists created.

When producing as HI-LO, Heldens tends to lean more towards an electro style, and this new single is no exception to that rule. “Lazersx999” sounds like an ode to the European rave scene; its high energy begs to be featured heavily in the club culture.

Oliver Heldens celebrates fifth anniversary of Heldeep Records with The Heldeep 5 TourOliver Heldens

From its foundation to its fifth anniversary, Oliver Heldens‘ imprint, Heldeep Records, has made considerable strides that have cemented the label’s prominency within the electronic context. Originally founded to extend exposure to up-and-coming artists and develop their individual raw talents, Heldeep Records has contributed to the rise of reputed acts like Chocolate Puma, Dada Life, and ALOK. Heldeep Records’ influence knows no bounds, having radiated past A&R enterprises over the past five years. The label’s serial offshoot, Heldeep Radio, boasts airwave longevity as it looks ahead to its 250th episode, slated for March 16. With Heldeep Records’ history of hosting stages at large-scale festivals like Tomorrowland and Electri Forest taken into account, it’s increasingly clear that Heldens has nurtured the imprint from a nascent initiative, to a fully fledged force in the dance music scene.

Heldens will commemorate Heldeep Records’ milestone fifth anniversary with the Heldeep 5 Tour. The 18-date effort will take Heldens and friends through a number of major cities, including Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Miami, and more. Heldens has played more than 650 events over the course of his continually advancing career, rendering him a particularly storied performer with a keen sense for crafting and curating shows. The Heldeep 5 Tour will expectedly evidence Heldens’ adroitness behind the decks, while embodying the forward thinking fun that has defined Heldeep Records to date.
