In November, the incomparable Anjunadeep imprint announced they’d be heading back to the Ionian shores of Albania for the second year in 2020. After much anticipation, the bulk of the lineup is here and, unsurprisingly, phase one is dripping in lush deep house, tech, and electronica muscle.

Deep house authority, Yotto, progressive duo Tinlicker, and melodic house up-and-comer 16BL are given this year’s honors of performing sunrise sets. Anjunadeep’s label manager Dom Donelly and founder James Grant snag the two five-hour sets. More multifarious label stalwarts like cinematic electronic twosome Eli & Fur and technicolor house titan, Ben Böhmer are also set to make maximum potency returns to the festival. This year’s edition is set to explore June 18-23 in scenic Dhërmi, Albania.

Early bird tickets to Explorations 2020 sold out, but more ticket packages will be available starting 1/17 at 11 am GMT (6 am EST). Get on the waitlist here.

For years, Eli & Fur have worked towards crafting their consistent sound, developing and improving it along the way. Their ethereal vocals overlay deep melodic house instrumentals to create a sound that is distinctly their own.

The UK duo’s latest track, “Wall to Wall,” continues on their top-notch trajectory by building on what they know best. The track’s expertly produced vocals melt into the atmospheric synths, while a four-on-the-floor rhythm keeps the momentum moving forward.

“Wall to Wall” arrives following the heels of their third EP with Anjunadeep, Into The Night. Currently, Eli & Fur are nearing the conclusion of their 2019 tour, and they’ll close out the decade with a New Year’s Eve performance in Chicago.

Seismic Dance Event unveils daily lineup, topped by Cirez D and TESTPILOTSeismic Dance Event I O

For the second year, Seismic Dance Event makes its return to Austin, Texas to bless attendees with two days of world-class performances. In September 2018, the inaugural event brought a stellar lineup to the Travis County Exposition Center, including Lane 8, Drezo, Golf Clap, Green Velvet, Sacha Robotti, and more.

In 2019, festival organizers look to build on last year’s success by bringing in headliners Cirez D and TESTPILOT, along with a piping hot array of other artists like Bicep, Idris Elba, Nic Fanciulli, Gorgon City, Nora En Pure, and more.

Now, the festival has revealed its daily lineups, featuring deadmau5’s TESTPILOT alias topping day one and Eric Prydz’s Cirez D moniker at the top of day two at The Statesman. Saturday, Nov. 16 will also feature acts like Chris Lake, i_o, and Rinzen, and Sunday, Nov. 17 will bring performances from Lee Burridge, Gorgon City, Dom Dolla and many more. Along from the dynamic lineup, the festival will also feature live painting and art installations, live performers, totem, and costume contests.

“We couldn’t be more pleased with the glowing feedback from our debut year and now with this year’s lineup,” said RealMusic Events & Seismic co-founders Kelly Gray & Andrew Parsons. “Many US festivals tend to have very similar lineups so we really wanted to switch it up and cater to the more seasoned, underground connoisseur – and yes, believe it, in Texas.”

Following the immense success of their 2018 EP Night Blooming Jasmine, Anjunadeep electronica/deep house duo Eli & Fur have released Into the Night: a flawless continuation of their trek into the cinematic stretches of the electronic realm. The latest EP features previously released title track and two new original cuts, “Don’t Say” and “You and I,” with extended mix counterparts in tow.

Laced with hypnotic club grooves and sensual original vocals, Into the Night captures the essence of Eli & Fur’s songwriting strengths in nostalgia-inspired dark tones, and lyricism smoldering with enigmatic intrigue. Paradoxically leaning from their pop-writing origins, their third Anjunadeep EP embodies a complex style of deep house convention, sodden with sensuality.

“It’s always special to create things as a duo as each of us have feelings we want to write about and emotions we want to communicate through the music both lyrically and melodically,” the pair stated in a recent release. “This makes the process more interesting.”

A new set of remixes of The Midnight draws near. The Midnight Remixed 02 arrives on Silk Music on Sept. 27, previewed by this exceptional rework of “Shadows” by Uppermost. The French producer bathes the duo’s original in light, bringing it out of the, erm, shadows, to give it a blissful new tone.

Grum‘s latest Anjunabeats venture is a rework of Luminary‘s “Amsterdam.” The four-minute introspective piece is saturated with emotive trance goodness, composed of dreamlike synths, accented melodies, and drifting vocals. It’s dramatic and infectious.

We’re just a week shy of Moon Boots‘ new album, Bimini Road, and the producer continues to drop hints of what fans can expect from his second studio album. Moon Boots taps vocalist Nic Hanson for “Clear,” crafting a clean-cut, soulful atmosphere, with a dance floor-ready beat.

Dabin and Essenger‘s original “Home” tugged at listeners’ heartstrings all around the world upon its initial release. Now, with Dabin’s Wild Youth (The Remixes) compilation making its debut, fans can experience songs like “Home” in a new light, thanks to talented producers like Mazare, who adds a whole new layer to the emotive core of the tune.

On Aug. 30, Danny Howard relaunched his Nothing Else Matters imprint and celebrated with the release of a new song: “If You Were” with Eli & Fur. This six-minute house heater is the perfect combination of sultry vocals and irresistible beats.

After taking a nearly year-long hiatus from his Nothing Else Matters imprint, Danny Howard has revived the label with the release of “If You Were,” featuring Eli & Fur.

Howard called the new release the “start of the next chapter” for Nothing Else Matters, saying in a tweet that he’s “so excited take this label in a new direction of quality underground, straight up club music. I’m feeling proud as fuck to be launching with the amazing Eli & Fur. More music info soon. NEM IS BACK.”

“If You Were” is a simmering late-summer heater, primed for dance floors across the globe. The BBC Radio 1 tastemaker is undoubtedly back in full force, and this new collaboration is living proof.

According to a press release, releases on the label from artists like Kill Frenzy, Gerd Janson, Waze & Odyssey, Alex Metric, and more are also in the works.
