Zeds Dead‘s beat drops are poised to steal the show from the ball drop at Decadence Arizona‘s 2019 New Year’s Eve installment. Equipped with a genre-manipulating catalog of clamorous bass, Zeds Dead will usher in the new decade with the decidedly high-octane sound that has secured them bragging rights in the electronic context. As the anticipation surges and swells among Zeds Dead fans eager to feel the floor rattle beneath their feet, the boys have partnered with Dancing Astronaut to put forth an ORBIT Playlist ahead of the Arizonian affair.
The selective, nine-track illustration of their curative prowess boasts Zeds Dead’s own “Stars Tonight” and “Sound Of The Underground,” in addition to their recent remix of Oliver Tree‘s “Miracle Man.” The raucous endeavor also spotlights productions from Halogenix/Lordel, Eprom, and Moody Good, among other artists.

Phoenix is quickly becoming one of electronic music’s favorite New Year’s destinations with Decadence. The festival’s consistent ability to lock in top-tier electronic talent gives party goers a two-day sonic snapshot of the year’s most popular music just ahead of the ball drop. While there’s no snow or skating in sight, Phoenix generally tends to make up for its lack of winter with an unbeatable year-ending Decadence lineup. Now, previously announced headliners Skrillex, Diplo, Illenium, Malaa and Tchami are joined by a final wave of talent that completes this year’s billing.
Dabin and Said The Sky will perform under their joint Dab The Sky banner, GRiZ and Subtronics will perform as Griztronics, and breakout producer Whipped Cream all round out this year’s lineup. Additional firepower comes by way of Night Bass boss AC Slater, Zeds Dead, JOYRYDE, Fisher, and Jamie Jones. Decadence runs December 30 – 31 at Rawhide Events Center. See the full lineup below.

In recent years, Arizona has become a New Year’s Eve hotspot for EDM revelers with the rise of Decadence — one of the most increasingly in-demand festivals of the year, marked by blockbuster lineups and one-of-a-kind fan experiences. This year, the festival is promising headline performances from Eric Prydz and Skrillex, with Above & Beyond, REZZ, Porter Robinson, and Marshmello all featured on the 2018 lineup as well. Though more than just an immersive festival environment and a stacked talent roster, Decadence is also promoting once-in-a-lifetime fan experiences through their renewed partnership with fundraising platform Surreal this year.
This year’s proceeds will benefit Childhelp, a national nonprofit organization which provides emotional, educational, and spiritual support to abused, neglected and at-risk children. For a small donation through the platform, fans and festival goers can enter to win a handful of exciting VIP experiences with some of this year’s performers including: getting dunked on by Shaquille O’Neal before his b2b performance with NGHTMRE, or throwing tacos on stage with Paz. There’s a meet and greet with Marshmello up for grabs, a photo opp with Alison Wonderland, and festival hangs with 4B. Prize winners also get two VIP tickets to Decadence AZ for themselves and a friend, roundtrip airfare courtesy of Orbitz and hotel accommodations in addition to their artist experience. Fans can also gain an extry to the contest of their choosing by subscribing to Childhelp’s newsletter.
With the release of Decadence‘s phase two line up, it seems Arizona’s vast canyons and deserts will be even more lush with sound. Relentless Beats have locked down Moon Boots, Valentino Khan, Green Velvet, Anti Up, and more for their New Year’s jubilee — a true cause of elation for those who bathe in the bass of techno and house.
Arizona’s “Biggest New Year’s Eve Experience” also released single day lineups and tickets with the announcement of phase two. Above & Beyond, REZZ, Porter Robinson, San Holo, Skrillex and more will perform on December 30. 4B, Eric Prydz, Paz, Green
Velvet and more will take on the final hours of 2018 on December 31.
Along with the phase two announcement comes another fascinating prospect — one of chance and charity. Relentless Beats have made fans aware of their philanthropy initiative with Surreal, a fundraising platform that offers fans to experience once-in-a-lifetime opportunities with artists. For Decadence, fans will have the chance to throw tacos on stage with Paz, meet Marshmello, even get dunked on by Shaq.
The winner of each category will also receive free airfare, VIP tickets, free hotel accommodations, and, of course, a wild story to take home with them. All the proceeds from the campaign will go to Childhelp, a national nonprofit organization with the purpose to meet the physical, spiritual, educational, and emotional needs of abused, maltreated, at-risk kids. The contest runs through December 18, and given the size of the festival and artists performing, the benefits of the campaign have to potential to mirror the elation that is sure to be experienced for the festival-goers at Decadence.

These days, a Skrillex set is hard to come by. However, this New Year’s Eve, fans will help him ring in 2019 at not only the previously-announced Snowta in Minneapolis, but at Arizona’s most coveted NYE experience, Decadence the day before.
Skrillex is no stranger to Decadence, either. He and Diplo closed out the fest in 2015 together in the height of their short-lived stint as Jack Ü. This year, Skrilly will join Porter Robinson as Decadence co-headliners to be announced thus far.
While the rest of the lineup for Decadence has yet to be announced, previously-booked acts have included Kaskade, deadmau5, Disclosure. Needless to say, the event is an inexorable can’t-miss for Arizonian EDM enthusiasts.
Decadence will be held December 30-31. Tickets are available now.
